Please complete the Surety Survey form in detail. This
document is an important tool in the pre-qualification process because it
helps your agent and underwriter become more familiar with your
organization.
Sections of notable importance:
Section N, Q, & Y:
The complete mailing address and telephone number of each architect, project
owner, engineer, creditor, and subcontractor is very important. These
individuals will provide references to your agent based on your historical
performance and payment history; thus presenting your organization in the
most positive manner.
If you have already prepared a list of references, please feel free to
include it in your submission. Great trade references are extremely
valuable.
Section U:
There may be times when your agent needs to correspond with your accountant
in order to clarify financial underwriting concerns. Providing the
accountant's name, address, and telephone number now will allow for a more
effective line of communication in the future.
* In order to maintain confidentiality, your agent will always consult with
you before discussing financial matters with a third party.
